Welcome to Kuleana Kids, friends of street children in Mwanza, Tanzania.

Imagine living on the streets, no food, no love, no future.  Sometimes it is the case that your home is a loving place that simply cannot afford to keep you safe, warm and fed.

Other times it is that living on the streets, is far safer than living with your family.  Sometimes it is the case that you don’t know where your family is or if they are even alive.

This is the reality of the street children in Mwanza and those living in Kuleana orphanage and street children's project and those that we are committed to supporting.  Currently there are around 1000 street children living in the city Mwanza with more appearing on a daily basis. 

Kuleana Kids believe that education is the most powerful tool in alleviating poverty and in the family unit being a primary consideration for a child’s optimal development, in any possible circumstance.
